Summary
Leave the long commutes, high living costs, and competitive jobs behind you. Improve your work-life balance by getting out to countryside and photographing red squirrels and other wildlife we encounter. But it's not all easy fun. The squirrels can be a rewarding but challenging experience. These small, agile creatures are full of character, making them fantastic subjects.
Day 1 - Travel to North Yorkshire
Traveling from London to Northallerton by train is a fast and convenient way to reach this historic North Yorkshire market town. The journey offers scenic countryside views as you leave the bustling capital behind and head north through the heart of England.
Days 2 & 3 - Hide sessions and exploration
In the morning, 8:00 to 14:00 we photograph Red Squirrels from purpose built hides. Photographing red squirrels from a hide is an exciting and rewarding experience, allowing you to capture these charismatic creatures up close without disturbing them. Since red squirrels are shy and quick-moving, using a hide helps you blend into their natural habitat for more natural and intimate shots.
In the evening we explore, by car, the Yorkshire Dales National Park to see what it is we find to photograph. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, from iconic upland birds to elusive mammals and rare plant species. Its mix of moorlands, woodlands, rivers, and limestone landscapes provides habitats for many fascinating creatures.
At night we settle down to a home-cooked meal and a comfy sleep in out Grade II home.
Day 4 - Exploration & return
On the final morning we explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park a little more before returning to the train station in time for boarding to London

It is critical that your photographic equipment be adequately insured before you embark on any holiday where you take your equipment with you. Our tours are no different.
